I designed Bee Humbled a bee drone concept that is accompanied by a site and app. To combat the problem of bee thieves around New Zealand. I began by researching existing solutions and identifying ways they could be improved. Through brainstorming and iteration, the idea of drones came to be, they are shaped and sized to be bee to discreet to avoid detection. Making them a discreet and effective monitoring tool, perfect to defer bee thieves making an attempt.
I started with brainstorming ideas and doing research on the subjects I had selected. This includes the Great Barrier's coral bleaching, Australian forest fires, and New Zealand bees. I continued to delve into the topic of New Zealand's bees and gained some insights that helped me create a question to answer.
Based on my research and knowledge, I was able to create some personas and further define and understand the target audience. Which served as a guide for my design process.
Creating a general idea for this design development for the project's outcome.
User testing was done on the prototype to ensure the site and app's usability and flow were simple. I designed the outcome as a way to answer my question.
